Box Butte County had four 4-Hers compete in the State 4-H Life Challenge and Clover Challenge contest June 30 and July 1.
Hannah Kesterson and Hannah Wood were State winners of the on-line Clover Challenge contest. They successfully answered numerous Family and Consumer Science questions in the areas of foods and nutrition, child development, home environment, food safety, clothing construction, and consumer management. Their award was presented by a representative from the 4-H Foundation.
Krista Carter, Christian Bila, Hannah Kesterson, and Hannah Wood, also competed in the Foods and Design Life Challenges where they worked as a team to solve a problem and then presented their solution to the problem before the judges.
