Keep Hemingford Beautiful has hired a local person as the office coordinator. Sally Minich officially began her duties on April 21st.
Minich is a graduate of the Hemingford Public Schools. She returned to the Hemingford area in 1981 and moved back to the family farm northwest of Hemingford in 1985. She retired from the Box Butte County Sheriff's Office in 2007. She has remained active as a volunteer at the Hemingford Care Center and with the Hemingford Diaroma.
Keep Hemingford Beautiful is a subsidiary of Keep Alliance Beautiful, Inc. The mission of Keep Hemingford Beautiful is Litter Prevention and Education; Recycling; and Beautification and Community Improvement. The office is located above the village office. Hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday – Friday and the phone number is 487-1729.
