Pamela K. Griffith, 59, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Hemingford Community Care Center in Hemingford.
She was born May 28, 1948 at Deadwood, South Dakota to C.J. "Toby" and Meda (Hylland) LaBarge.
Pamela married L. Curtis Griffith on May 4, 1965 at Alliance.
As a longtime area resident, she had worked at the Alliance Police Department, Kmart, and the Alliance Public Schools where she worked as a cook and dietician. She was a Past President of the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and also served on the Box Butte Public Employee Federal Credit Union's Loan Committee.
She is survived by her husband, L. Curtis Griffith; son, Timothy C. Griffith; daughter, Tammy K. Payne; grandchildren, Angela (Matt) Clevenger, and Nathan M. Payne; and her great grandson, Joseph R. Clevenger, all of Alliance. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.
