Here's the complete scoop on KCOW's May Basket event!
1. Baskets are currently available at Thiele Pharmacy and Gifts in downtown Alliance. Baskets are free but supplies are limited so get yours immediately! As a bonus, each basket comes with a 15% Off coupon good in the Thiele gift department.
2. Take your basket home and start creating! Your basket can be filled with homemade goodies or store-bought items, it can have any special theme or design you like. You could do a basket that represents your hobby, unique collection or favorite sports team, just to name 3 simple ideas. Remember, all baskets submitted will be sold or auctioned off...so don't put anything in the basket that you want to get back!
3. Bring your basket...plus a non-parishable food item...to our KCOW Studios on West 10th St. in Alliance between 6 and 10am on Thursday May 1st. All food donations received will go to the Northwest Community Action emergency food pantry.
4. Everyone is invited to our studios on May 1st between 10am and 1pm for a showing of all the baskets. Our 3 celebrity judges will select the top 6 baskets. These will be auctioned off by Alliance's own Mick McCarthy. All other baskets will be sold at this time. All proceeds from the auction and basket sales will go to the Box Butte Ministerial Association.
