KCOW and Double Q Country Radio's morning announcer and production coordinator Jason Wentworth was honored by the Nebraska Broadcasters' Association Thursday, Aug. 12, in Lincoln with two gold awards (first place).
Wentworth was recognized for his production skills in the category of Service to Children for his Halloween Safety Tips that aired in October, 2009, and for his promotional announcements that aired in March, 2010 promoting the annual KCOW/Double Q Country Home Show in Alliance.
Along with two large plaques, Wentworth was also presented $300 by the broadcasters' association.
