The Alliance girls basketball team came up short against Gordon-Rushville Tuesday night as the Mustangs down the Bulldogs, 55-41, in Gordon.
Gordon-Rushville led at halftime, 30-14.
With the loss, Alliance drops to 2-9 on the season while Gordon-Rushville improves to 10-0.
Alliance will host Chadron Friday night in a girls/boys double-header.
