The Alliance Bulldog football team defeated Ogallala 12-7 in Ogallala. Alliance led at halftime 6-0. On September 26, Ogallala beat Alliance, 56-6, on the Bulldogs' home field.
It is only the second victory for Alliance in its football playoff history.
With the victory, Alliance will move into quarterfinal play on Friday, November 7 against Aurora (9-1). The game will be played in Alliance, with kickoff at 2:30 p.m.
Alliance improves to five and five on the season. Ogallala ends its year with an 8 and 2 record.
