In early 2011, the City of Alliance adopted the slogan: "Building the Best Hometown in America."
That slogan was the theme of the January 31 Alliance Chamber of Commerce awards banquet.
The chamber staff requested that KCOW's Mike Glesinger and Kevin Horn, who both established residency in Alliance on September 7, 1986, offer a perspective of the positive things they had seen in Box Butte County over the past 25 years, to be presented at the chamber banquet.
