At the Chadron High Speech Meet Saturday, Febr. 4, Alliance placed second in the A/B division behind Gering.
These Alliance High students medaled:
Miranda McDonald, 1st in Entertainment;
Delta Wilson, 4th in Persuasive, and 2nd in Extemporaneous;
D.J. Strang, 1st, Morgan Boots, 2nd, and Roger Bunnell, 3rd in Serious Prose;
Saige Benton, 1st in Humorous Prose;
The Oral Intpretation of Drama team consisting of Kacey Horn, Saige Benton, Roger Bunnell, and Collin Cox placed 2nd.
Hans Hansen of Hemingford placed 3rd in Extemporaneous, while former St. Agnes and AHS student Shelby Anderson, now a junior at Gordon-Rushville, placed 2nd in Poetry and 4th in Entertainment.
