Alliance police are investigating the death of a man who was discovered unconscious, not breathing, and bleeding shortly before ten o'clock this (Tuesday) morning.
The body of the man was discovered in the 1800 block of Alliance Street, located in the Homestead Addition in the southeast portion of town.
Police Lt. Ken Hart says officers are investigating it as an unattended death. Hart says it appears to be a suicide, but the investigation is still ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld until all of the relatives have been notified. An autopsy will take place on Wednesday in Scottsbluff.
