At 2:30 am on March 1, less than one month away, and at a time when most will be sound asleep, approximately twenty local students will be departing for what some are calling a "once in a lifetime experience." Members of Alliance's premier show choir, Rendezvous, will be departing Alliance for Denver to connect to a flight to travel to compete in the national FAME competition in Hollywood, California!Just as is referred to in one of the group's marquee songs, the endeavor marks the culmination of almost 525,600 minutes - or a yearlong period - packed with evening, weekend, and holiday rehearsals. It also caps off several months of fundraising efforts to underwrite the ambitious trip.

The community will get one last opportunity to see Alliance's Premier Show Choir perform prior to their departure as Rendezvous will be hosting a 7:00 pm public performance on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Alliance Performing Arts Center.
