Box Butte General Hospital will be having a planned power outagethat will last up to 5 hours this Monday, February 6.
All operations at the hospital will operate on auxiliary power. The planned power outage is for the beginning of the emergency generator upgrade for BBGH,and is strictly a safety precaution to perform core drilling and trenching.
The Medical Arts Plaza and Suite 2307, which is now the Capstone Building, will remain on public power and not be affected.
The outage will also affect Suite 2107, which houses the Cardio-Pulmonary Unit. That building will be without electricity on Monday from 11:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
