Rising energy costs has the administration of Panhandle Rural Electric encouraging its members to ask their elected officials questions about mandates that would impact consumers' monthly bills.

PREMA General Manager Ryan Reiber says area electric cooperatives have banded together to launch a “Dialogue with Consumers.”

Reiber says PREMA staff will be available to start a dialogue with community groups concerning the proposed taxes and how they may affect electric rates simply by calling the PREMA office in Alliance at 762-1311.

Reiber adds that more information can be found on the web site http://www.ourenergy.com/.
